Electro Mechanical Technician

Duties:

  • Help with small batch production builds of our range of controllers as well as work on prototyping new products
  • Activities range from soldering components to PCBs, PCBA assemblies, controller assemblies, potting of control units, and testing support
  • PCBA inspections
  • Soldering of production and prototype PCBAs and wire harnesses
  • Assembly of controller products
  • Potting electronic components
  • Hi-Pot testing
  • Testing of product using ASI designed tester hardware and software

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IPC 610F standards
  • Proficient with soldering of 0201 components
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with other tools in soldering and component removal
  • Understands safe handling procedures and ESD compliance
  • Proficient with use of hand tools for assembly
  • Proficient on MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
